The Marketing Strategy Manager will be a thought leader in audience-centric thinking, brand activations, public relations and internal communications focusing on authenticity, actionability and amplification of the MasterControl brand across both customer and employee journeys.

This role is expected to work with the Vice President and Director of Marketing Strategy to support the development of clear and compelling go-to-market strategies that connect audience intention and needs to business objectives while driving the rollout and implementation of key initiatives to ensure that strategy is operationalized and optimized. This individual will continuously ideate, articulate and activate and requires a high level of curiosity, energy and presence.

The Marketing Strategy Manager will collaborate with identifying and articulating concepts and positioning in a way that is compelling and memorable. They will inspire original creative thinking among every team member and ensure that the core elements of the brand mission, vision, value proposition, messaging, tone, language, etc. align to the voice of the customer.

Core Responsibilities:

Become the SME for customer purchase journey and product lifecycle and key 'marketing moments' to influence.
Identify new ways to understand prospect, customer and employee behavior and drive contextual engagement.
Craft companywide value proposition, core messaging and activate through internal communications/events.
Extend and amplify new brand positioning through partnerships with PR agency and publishing partners.
Inspire and inform the creative services team and external partners to continuously improve/innovate.
Partner with product teams, demand generation, sales and support to orchestrate brand experience.

Additional Considerations:

Strategic, systems thinker that continuously searches for new insights, ways to connect and expand concepts, shepherd strategic idea through the creative and development process and effectively leverage the ever-evolving AdTech and MarTech ecosystem to drive innovation.
Experience building out messaging and creative assets for cross-channel marketing strategies and campaign delivery. Understanding of how to align and sequence messaging to connect and convert individuals at specific points in their journey. Desire to help creative services understand how to design dynamic/modular content.
Analytic mindset and desire to work closely with marketing analysts to assess marketing and sales data and set specific marketing goals, campaign performance metrics and champion a culture of data-driven optimization.
Ability to adapt to ever-changing business realities; motivated and determined to grow into his or her next role. Has the capacity to transform and align a team or organization around a new goal. Continues to source, develop and implement strategic planning tools that enhance the level of thinking and insight injected into the process.


4-6 years of experience crossing advertising, public relations and marketing ideally with a blend of agency and client-side roles with a wide-ranging experience in the media and marketing industries, with a mix of online and offline channels, media and creative.
Exceptional presentation skills, with experience of presenting strategy and securing buy-in at mid- to senior levels.
Strong knowledge of marketing trends and technology stack, specifically core CRM, MAP, CMS and DMPs.
Familiarity with SEO/SEM best practices and web analytics platforms like Google Analytics.
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications or applicable field.
Advanced degrees considered but not required.
