The Sales Operations Specialist provides operational support for MasterControl sales representatives and management team. The role focuses on managing sales process, coordination of sales in a web-based tracking system, support of sales members through communication and trainings, and effectively administrating projects and project-oriented tasks. The role will work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment and will be a member of MasterControl's world-class Sales Operations group.
Support sales communication and training, sales summits, sales training webinars, newletters, curriculum and sales literature.
Manage projects focused on achieving department and company goals.
Management of the sales web portal and coordination of resource requests (RFP, trial sites, material requests, visits, audits and others).
Develop, maintain and distribute sales analytics, surveys, industry research, competitive information, and territory maps as needed.
Provide sales support including, quote creation, order processing, tickets, pricelist management, and other sales support related tasks.
Assist with events, travel, and other administrative duties as needed.
Assist in managing and developing sales references, customer advocates, and customer success.
Other tasks and projects as assigned.
Experience using MS Office tools, Adobe Acrobat, computer systems, and communication tools. (Database experience preferred)
Experience with analytics and reporting.
Strong communication skills including writing, editing and responding to communications from customers.
Basic ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate project details among multiple departments, and meet rigid deadlines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Ability to work non-standard hours on occasion, when necessary.
Bending, stooping and lifting are integral aspects of this position.
Ability to operate a computer and work at a desk for extended periods of time.
