The Software Developer (.NET) I is responsible to design, develop, document, test, and debug MasterControl's website applications using the Microsoft .NET Framework and C#, working with internal clients across the enterprise to effectively meet milestones for new and existing website applications. Participates in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design. Works closely with other team members and performs closely supervised work.
|Duties:||ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:|
Serve as technical expert on development projects.
Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
Develop wireframes and proof-of-concept web designs prior to actual implementation
Develop technical architecture of web applications including scripting, database design, and user interface design.
Support, maintain, and document software functionality.
Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.
Perform complex integrations to external data sources via their APIs
Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation.
Contribute in an agile team environment
Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
Ability to operate a computer and work at a desk for extended periods of time
Proficiency in .Net / C# required (to be verified)
Proficiency in SQL (Microsoft SQL Server preferred) (to be verified).
Ability to use object oriented programming principles.
Proficiency with development IDEs (Visual Studio preferred) and source control (TFS preferred).
Experience with Sitefinity CMS highly preferred
General Webserver knowledge preferred (IIS)
Ability to work in a team environment.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Ability to operate a computer and work at a desk for an extended period of time.
