The Project Manager role is a key function within the Product Launch Committee (PLC). The Project Manager works directly with all departments to ensure successful quarterly and annual product releases. The individual in this role will have accountability for release project plan, interdepartment update coordination, meeting schedules and associated deliverables.

Coordinate gathering of release tasks across the entire company
Manage quarterly and annual release plans in MS Project
Creation and enhancing of project schedules
Identify and manage the critical path (critical pathing)
Communicate project status
Manage multiple improvement projects within the release path
Must be detailed oriented, organized, and possess excellent follow-up skills.
Must be able to function under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Establish, monitor and maintain project deadlines
Take an active role in timely issue resolution and be able to manage change and escalate issues.
Coordinate timely interdepartment communication on project status.
Take corrective action as necessary to assure project success.
Must have the ability to effectively communicate to senior level management
Bachelor's Degree - Information Systems Management, Business Management, Related Field or equivalent experience.
3-6 years experience in project management in related field.
Proven track record meeting schedule while still meeting or exceeding requirements and objectives.
Ability to work well with people at all levels of management.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing, in person, via teleconferencing tools, over the telephone and in e-mail.
Ability to operate a computer.
Ability to develop effective reports.
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, emphasis on MS Project.
PMP, CAPM or other project management certifications preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Ability to work at a desk for extended periods of time.
Ability to work non-standard hours occasionally.
Minimal travel required for customer meetings.
