The Instructor will act as a qualified expert of MasterControl products, teaching in the Education Center and On-Site at client locations. This will also develop education materials by: 1) Working on projects with the Curriculum Development team 2) Maintaining open channels of communication with Product Management, Configuration Services, Support and other areas required to assemble, implement, deliver and train on MasterControl Products. 3) Being the voice of the customer by submitting bugs/enhancement requests through User Voice. This includes materials for existing supported versions of the software, as well as past and future versions as they are released. 4) Meeting classroom and virtual training needs and requirements for internal/external customers. The person in this role will work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment and will be a member of MasterControl's best-in-class Education Services group. Position requires some travel.
|Duties:||ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:|
Provide instruction at the Education Center or client On-Site location as a Certified MasterControl Instructor
Deliver engaging and informative training sessions by keeping updated on products and adult learning best-practices
Join the Curriculum Development team to create/update job aides, facilitator and participant guides, elearning courses and other materials to enhance training
Assist with the total Education Center's packaging of materials, e-materials, availability through the MasterControl Customer Website and Classroom Presentation materials
Act as a liaison for Education and Product Management enabling the transfer of knowledge to pass through to Project, Education, Configuration Services and Technical Support
Produce materials for the classroom, further develop the skills within the MasterControl's community of clients, and contribute to the current and future use of the Education Services
Enter and record the variety of bugs, enhancements and issues that flow from the class and clients as they provide output during classes
Act as a substitute during times when the Education Center's Director or Colleagues are unavailable with the understanding this will lead to other instructional areas
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Material expertise and a classroom presence to work with multiple clients at the same time while providing a consistent level of professionalism
Ability to suggest ideas on how to efficiently teach concepts in a way that best transfers knowledge and leads to high user adoption
Demonstrate a positive "can do" attitude, show motivation, and be a goal oriented self-starter
Be "solution-minded" rather than "problem-minded"
Proven analytical and problem solving skills
Understanding of the Quality and Regulated Life Sciences industry desirable
Ability to understand technical concepts and maintain expertise in a changing environment
S. Business/Science/Education preferred
Prior experience with software training professional classroom environment
Training material development and remote training delivery experience
Excellent communication skills, classroom skills, personal organization skills, and interpersonal/classroom skills
Ability to stand for extended periods of time while presenting instruction
