JOB SUMMARY:

MasterControl provides software solutions that help regulated companies comply with rigid quality standards. Our customers include medical device, pharmaceutical, and food companies that must conform to FDA regulations, as well as general manufacturing companies that require a high level of quality compliance, such as those found within ISO standards.

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for all accounting functions related to timely and accurate billing, maintenance of customer purchasing information and cash collections. In addition, the role will manage sales order processing. The AR Specialist will work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure all Accounts Receivable transactions are recorded properly and efficiently.

Duties:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accounting functions as assigned which could include:



Sales Order Processing and Fulfillment
Process sales orders accurately and timely
Ensure proper product delivery and controls on purchased components
Management and reconciliation of license inventory
Accounts Receivable
Timely and accurate billing of new purchases (including multi currency transactions)
Timely and accurate billing of recurring items (including multi currency transactions)
Maintain customer purchasing information
Collections
work with customers and internal team members to resolve collection issues and invoicing problems including foreign subsidiaries
generate and maintain collection reports for all billing cycles for senior management
Qualifications:REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Professional Experience:
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable
Collections experience preferred
Interpersonal Skills:
Ability to work in a team environment
Able to communicate effectively in writing, in person, over the telephone and in e-mail
Other Skills:
Excellent Analytical skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time while working with various deadlines
Knowledge working with Excel spreadsheets
Familiarity and experience working with Accounting software (NetSuite a plus)
Passionate about solving business problems in innovative and creative ways
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment with attention to detail
Ability to meet multiple, challenging deadlines while communicating expectations clearly
International Accounting experiences and currency exchange
Familiarity with government standards and regulations
